Rated 1 out of 5 by robinlynf from I bought them to draw faces on cake pops....barely even get a face out of the black marker and it stopped working. tried everything to get it to work but nothing happened. when you try to rewrite over the face to make it darker or bolder it wipes it write off. A huge waste of $9, definitely returning them and getting my money back! I wouldn't recommend any buys these until them come out with ones that actually work!

Rated 1 out of 5 by schnugglebug from They barely mark ... I wasted 9$ buying them used them once (did the recommended cleaning of the tips before storage and they no longer work or mark properly) I am using/used them on fondant, I made sure the fondant was dried before use and still to no avail. I do not recommend these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by oshun921 from I was very dissatisfied with this product. It does not write on Candy Melts. From reading the other reviews I guess this product works better on Fondant. I had to make some black food coloring to use to make ghost faces on my Ghost Cake Pops. Do not buy if you are using Candy Melts!

Rated 2 out of 5 by kimmerhawk from I was very disappointed to find that these will not write on candy melts, or almond bark. I am just now starting to make cake pops and was told that Wilton's were a good product for this. I paid $9 for a set and got 2 smiles out of them before the red marker quit. I tried wiping off the tip and dipped the tip in water for just a second because they appeared dried up. Still they won't work. I also just tried making black dots for eyes, again, got about 3 eyes done before it quit too. I am getting ready to make some sugar cookies and am hoping that they work on them, if not they are going to the garbage along with $9 wasted. I will now have to go out and buy the competitor's product as that is all I can find that will work. I have been a Wilton Customer for close to 40 years and have never been so disappointed. Well, when they quit selling all the cool candy molds that bummed me too. :-) I sure hope Wilton comes up with a better marker so I can use them. Still loyal to Wilton though. :-) Kim

Rated 1 out of 5 by Meagatronbomb from I may not be the best cake decorator, but I'm great with a pen. And these Food Writers write nothing like a pen. They dry out very quickly, are incredibly inconsistent, and overall very difficult to use. You'd be better off using a paint brush and food coloring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cowgirlbaker from This food markers are so fun and quick. They make it easy to add little details to things fast. I even use them to mark on my cake or draw where I want my piping to go. My son love to use them also he has fun designing his own cookies.
