Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this cake for a friend's baby shower. As with most of the directions, make sure you read them about a week in advance because the topper and stars need time to dry. This was my first time sculpting, and I was very pleased with the results. I used buttercream instead of fondant, so i drew the moon and stars on by hand and "painted" them. I think the next time I do it, I would make those designs out of fondant or gumpaste. Overall, I was very happy with the cake as was the customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am not a pro at sculpting, but found the step-by-step instructions very easy to follow. I suggest making the topper days in advance. It does need time to dry. I used butter instead of fondant, but still imprinted the designs. I then painted them with gold and silver dust. The guest of honor thought it was great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this for an office baby shower we all were giving to a fellow employee. The clouds were so easy to make and I love how they turned out. I used MMF and one of the girls at work just loves MMF that she took all of the clouds to eat! For me, that baby was easy but I had a little difficulty making the diaper. It took me several tries. The first one I made looked as if the baby had a "full" diaper! Oh no!! But I eventually got it right. It was a big hit and I was so happy to do for her. I would make this again. But it does take time. I made the clouds, baby, moon, stars in advance like instructed. I like doing that, it makes the project go so so smoothly and quickly. And the moon looks awesome with the yellow cake sparkles on it. OMG, it really made that moon stand out - very cute. I also colored the diaper pink because she was having a girl. Everyone took pics of the cake and the Mother-to-be took a pic and did not want anyone to cut it so we could eat. She took the moon and baby home w/her.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I forgot to talk about the clouds in my earlier post. The clouds were not hard to make, but were time consuming. I did not make quite enough of the fondant clouds, so I filled in with buttercream clouds. The end result was beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This cake was a big hit at the shower. It was not to hard to make all the fondant decorations can be made ahead of time and allowed to dry for easier handling and placement on the cake .This is on Technique I will be using again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used the clouds idea to make a Christening cake. I put some angels on that. The only thing about the clouds is that you need a lot of fondant and at the end no one eats that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You definatly need to plan ahead with this one. When it's done though, it's beautiful. The clouds took the longest to make and can be made days ahead.
