Adding color details to candies makes them more realistic and much more fun! For large areas of color, it's best to paint the melted candy right in the mold before the whole candy is molded using a decorator brush. Or, for very small details like vines, mouths and messages, melted candy should be piped onto molded candies using a parchment bag with a small hole cut in the tip.

The grass tip creates the most celebrated, easily accomplished decorations! The serrated edges of the grass tip makes ridges in the icing as you squeeze it out. Our step-by-step video shows you how!

The rosette has the tight, swirling look of a rose, but is achieved in one continuous rotation, rather than with wrapped layers of petals. Single rosettes are also used as candleholders on top of a cupcake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was quite easy. Just doing the Rosette technique made it look fluffy. I made royal icing flowers previously and put that around the lamb on top of the coconut grass that I dyed green. Added a few jelly beans too. This was a hit and very impressive to the family on Easter. Used blue icing for eyes and cut edge of jelly ban for his nose. Make sure you put frosting underneath him so he stays in place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made this cake for Easter. It turned out so well and everyone loved it. The cake came out of the pan without a problem and decorating was easier than I thought it would be once I got started. The base layer of icing was a little difficult, but since it is complelely covered up, just get enough on for the decorating icing to stick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun for Easter, or a childs birthday. Can use a multitude of techniques for the Lambs wool. Start tip, coconut, curled chocolate. Must transport carefully as the the lamb could be 'tippy'. Have also used easter eggs around the base of the lamb as Easter Decore. Fairly easy and impressive turnout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this cake for Easter and it was a HUGE hit! It was a lot easier than I anticipated; it was more time consuming than anything! I also used royal icing for the grass so it would hold the flowers up higher. It turned out fantastic!
