2 days in advance: Make star toppers. Trace
largest flower Cut-Out on paper and enlarge
at 200% for large cupcake topper. Flatten a
cupcake wrap and attach to sheet of paper.

Tint 24 oz. fondant royal blue. Add 1 tablespoon
Gum-Tex. Roll out 1/8 in. thick. Use knife
and flower pattern to cut large topper. Place
on parchment-covered board. Use royal icing
and tip 10 to pipe star; use tip 6 to pipe center
Use largest flower Cut-Out to cut 65 standard
star toppers. Place on parchment-covered
boards. Use royal icing and tip 4 to pipe stars;
use tip 2 to pipe center monogram. Let dry
Paint all stars and monograms with gold Pearl
Dust/lemon extract mixture. Let dry
Bake and cool large cupcake and 65 standard
cupcakes using blue baking cups. Tint 16 oz.
fondant navy to match baking cups. Prepare
and cover bottom of large cupcake with
navy fondant. Spatula ice top of
large cupcake with buttercream icing; cover
cupcake tops with a tip 1A icing swirl.
Roll out gum paste 1/8 in. thick. Use wrap
pattern to cut out large cupcake wrap; attach
around cake using tip 6 dots of icing. Position
all toppers, supporting as needed with dots of
icing. Position on stand.
