Lemon Filling is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was looking for a way to make my white cupcakes with buttercream frosting a little more exciting, so I tried this lemon filling. I had never made filled cupcakes before, I put a little too much in the first couple and the cupcakes "exploded", but once I got the hang of it I found it quite easy. They were really yummy, my son loved them and so did my friends that I baked them for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made this several times now, and it has been a hit each time. The first time I used it as a filling for a lemon cake, with a lemon buttercream crumb coat, and the other times I have used a butter or yellow cake, and the freshness of the lemon is just delightful. I added in some of the "Lemon Yellow" color gel to really give it a color pop, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was simply awesome. Nice tang to it. I made hundreds of cupcakes for daughters graduation party. This was one of the fillings I made. I used the wilton cupcake set to fill them easily as well. I frosted with a plain buttercream. I've also done a layered yellow cake- and put this as a filling between layers of the cake!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am taking Wilton classes and at the next class we are icing and filling cupcakes. I made this filling because my husband likes lemon. It was easy. Simple instructions and easy to make. I'm enjoying my classes and learning new things. I look forward to the rest of the classes also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made these for my nephew when he turned one. I did a batch of twentyfour. With twelve I made a form of a caterpillar, and the other twelve were the grass on the bottom of the caterpillar. I topped them with different colored cream icing. My family loved them as well as my nephew!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is awesome. I used Duncan Hines lemon cake, this filling and put lemon flavoring in the frosting. My husband who does not like lemon said the filling was perfection. I have made it for garden parties, and a huge hit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very tasty and lemony. I'd never made a lemon filling from scratch before when I made this filling back in 2007 but the instructions were easy to follow and very clear. It is now a base lemon filling recipe that I use.
