Rated 2 out of 5 by lynvan1 from Unfortunately there are some mistakes in this recipe. First of all, there are not 6 cups of batter in a pound cake mix. Sooo, there really is not enough batter to do as the directions ask. The 9x13 pan is too big for the amount of batter you can use to make leaves, therefore the leaves come out too thin. They won't stand up in the pan even after the batter is added.

Rated 2 out of 5 by savana from Didn't work as Directed Make 2 cake batters. Use 1 cake batter for the leaves or whatever design you choose. I don't recommend the pound cake batter. It was too heavy for the leaves and they broke down and it appears fell over in the bake process. Use a spice or carrot cake for flavor and its thinner. I will try it again.
