Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe can be made with any citris; key lime, lime, orange, and lemon all work great. Cream cheese icing is always creamy and delicious but some people find it too sweet so the citris helps cut the sweetness. This is a wonderful icing over plain cupcakes and pound cake. You can also use this as a matching icing to the margarita cupcake batter or to match a citrus pound cake. This has turned out wonderful everytime I have made it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMIGOD. BEST. BEST ICING of all times. I could eat it for breakfast. In fact, I made cupcakes for a BBQ and my guests ate the remaining icing in the fridge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bake for my classmates and tend to cut the amount of icing sugar for any recipe down to size. I used 2 1/2 cups of icing sugar instead of the 4-5 and just whipped the icing for longer to get more air into it. Even with the 2 1/2 cups, it was still a touch too sweet for my friends and family.
