In advance: Make cookies. Prepare and roll
out dough. Use teddy bear cutter to cut
one body for each figure; use knife to trim
off ears and arms. Use largest round Cut-Out to cut heads. Use
pattern to cut two easel backs per figure.
Bake and cool cookies.
Use royal icing to decorate heads and bodies
separately on waxed paper-covered boards.
Ice heads smooth in skin tone, then
decorate features as follows.
Spatula ice pants and shirt.
Pipe tip 12 pull-out arms. Pipe tip 3 pull-out
fingers and hair, swirl nerve. Draw veins on
candy eyeballs and color in whites with edible
markers; attach with dots of icing. Pipe tip 2
outline mouth, pull-out fringe, dot nostrils, toes.
Attach heads; let dry. Attach
easel backs; let dry. Add piping gel tinted red
for blood and wounds in cut parchment bag.
