In advance: Make cookies. Prepare and roll out dough. For each treat, cut one 4 1/2 in. square and 1 animal using cutters from set. Bake and cool cookies.
Ice squares. Outline cookies using tip 5 and full-strength white icing; flow in with thinned tinted icing. Immediately add white dots using thinned icing in cut parchment bag. Let dry on waxed paper covered boards.
For elephant, outline cookie, inner ears and trunk with tip 2 and full-strength icing; flow in gray areas with thinned icing. Flow in inner ear with thinned pink icing.
For monkey, outline cookie and inner ears with tip 2 and full-strength icing; flow in dark brown areas with thinned icing. Flow in inner ears with thinned pink icing. Let dry. Outline muzzle with tip 2 and full-strength icing; flow in with thinned icing.
For lion, outline face, ears, triangle nose and inner ears with tip 2 and full-strength yellow icing; flow in with thinned icing. Outline mane with tip 2 and full-strength golden icing; flow in with thinned icing. Flow in inner ears with thinned pink icing.
Let all dry on waxed paper-covered boards.
Assemble and decorate using fullstrength icing. Attach animal cookies to squares. Pipe tip 1 dot and outline facial features on all.
