Winter Retreat Gingerbread House
This sweet petite gingerbread retreat has all the makings of a great holiday home. Bright candies and trims all around and a snowman and Christmas tree icing decoration to finish the joyful scene.
Ingredients:

- granulated sugar
- confectioners' sugar
- shredded coconut (if desired)
Makes:
1 gingerbread house.
Tools:
- Mixer and bowl

- Scissors
- Paring Knife

- Decorating bag, decorating tip, cardboard base (included in kit)
Instructions:
Step 1
Divide prepared decorating icing in half, use half for decorating the house, the other half for adding "snow" around house (keep remaining half covered with a damp cloth).
Step 2
Fill decorating bag with icing.
Step 3
Create windows and door with outlines, ice smooth using a spatula. Attach mini fruit-flavored candies. Cut a mini spice drop in half and attach to door for window. Cut a small piece of spice drop and attach to door for doorknob.
Step 4
Decorate sides of house with lattice. Decorate seams of house with zigzags.
Step 5
Using a spatula, ice roof smooth. Attach whole mini spice drops on roof peak. Cut mini spice drops in half and attach on roof. Decorate roof edges with icicles.
Step 6
Using a spatula, ice snow on base fluffy. Attach mini spice drops to line walkway. Attach tree and snowman icing decorations.
NOTE: Additional candy may be required.
