Step 1

Divide prepared decorating icing in half, use half for decorating the house now, the other half for adding "snow" around the house later (keep covered with a damp cloth).

Step 2

Fill decorating bag with 1/2 cup icing.

Step 3

Outline door and fill in with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Attach mini multi-colored candies to door frame and doorknob with dots of icing. Attach candy round for window on door with dots of icing. Cut gum drop candy ring in half and attach above door for awning with dots of icing. Attach star candy above awning with dots of icing.

Step 4

Outline and fill in windows with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Decorate lattice on top of windows. Cut candy rounds in half and attach for side shutters with dots of candy. For front and back window cut gum drop candy rings in half and attach above window with dots of icing. Attach mini multi-colored candies with dots of icing above candy ring. On side windows attach a star candy above with dots of icing.

Step 5

Attach green gum drop candy ring for wreath on front of house. Roll out red candy round on and cut bow shape; attach to wreath to dots of icing.

Step 6

Decorate zigzags on corner seams of house and straight lines under eaves. Ice roof smooth. Pipe 6 rows (alternating garlands and zigzag garlands on each side of roof). Attach mini multi-colored candies at beginning and end points of each garland. Decorate line on roof peak and position candy rounds. Attach a star candy on top of each candy round with dots of icing.

Step 7

Decorate icicles on eaves.

Step 8

Ice base fluffy. Cut gum drop candy rings in half and position along walkway and at base corners of house. Cut candy rounds in half and attach in scallop design on base.
