Techniques Used


Step 1

Prepare and roll out dough. Cut out cookies using second largest circle cutter. Bake and cool. Ice smooth with buttercream.

Step 2

Using Round Comfort-Grip Cutter as a guide and black FoodWriter, trace circles on back side (shiny side) of Light Blue Sugar Sheets! Cut a circle for each cookie. Attach to center of cookie using piping gel.

Step 3

Using punch with Large Circle Cutting Insert, cut circles from Light Pink, Light Yellow and Light Green Sugar Sheets! Cut circles to 1 3/8 in. Using border punch with Scallop Border Cutting Insert, cut scallop border on straight edge.

Step 4

For umbrella handles, use craft knife to cut shapes, 1 5/8 long x 3/16 in. wide, from Light Pink, Light Yellow and Light Green Sugar Sheets! Using matching color FoodWriter Marker, draw swirl details on umbrellas. Match umbrella pieces by color and attach to cookie using piping gel. Attach confetti from sprinkle assortment to cookies using piping gel. Attach a matching confetti dot to top of umbrella with piping gel.
