Step 1
Bake and cool cupcakes in White Standard Baking Cups. Cool completely on Cooling Grid.
Step 2
Prepare Buttercream Icing recipe. Tint green. Using green buttercream icing, mound icing on cupcake with spatula and ice smooth.
Step 3
Using green buttercream icing, pipe Round Decorating Tip 12 balls on mound of icing for "shell" and flatten slightly with finger dipped in cornstarch.
Step 4
Position small chocolate nougat candies for legs and large candy for head.
Step 5
Using green buttercream icing, pipe Round Decorating Tip 3 dot and string facial features. Pipe Round Decorating Tip 3 pull-out tail.
Special Hints
You can turn your cupcake cake into a bee by icing smooth with yellow icing, piping black lines on body and adding whole White Candy Melts for wings. What a great way to get your party fun buzzing!
