Instructions:

Step 1

In advance, make cookie cement mixer. Roll out dough 1/4 in. thick and cut 2 hearts using cutter. Before removing cut dough, cut a straight line across top of each cookie, pat dough to fill in up to straight line. Trim rounded 5/8 in. from right side. On second heart, cut a 1 x 3 in. strip from left side. For cement mixer chute, cut a 3/4 x 1 in. rectangle; remove excess dough. Bake and cool all cookies.

Step 2

Bake and cool cake. Trim light off top of truck cab. Trim ladder area and back of truck. Ice sides, background areas and window smooth. Outline cookies, truck, window, bumper, headlight and wheel centers with tip 3. Pipe in headlight, bumper and wheel centers with tip 3; smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Pipe tip 12 spiral tires, smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Cover truck and cookies with tip 16 stars. Pipe tip 6 dot treads on wheels. Pipe tip 3 string steering wheel. Pipe tip 21 shell bottom border. Insert lollipop sticks in top of cake to support overhanging cookie pieces; position cookies. Print tip 3 message.
