Instructions:
Step 1
In advance: Make cookies. Roll out dough; cut cookies with chick cutter. Bake and cool.
Step 2
Outline body and beak with tip 2. Pipe in body and beak with thinned royal icing; let set overnight. With full-strength royal icing, pipe tip 4 dot eye and pupil; pipe in tip 4 hat and foot (pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Add tip 102 ruffle on hat. Pipe tip 4 string hatband and tip 3 bow. Outline wing with tip 4.
*Note: Combine Lemon Yellow and Golden Yellow for yellow shown and Violet and Rose for violet shown.
