Step 1

Ice cakes smooth. Divide fondant into fourths; tint portions green, blue and red, reserve 1/4 white.

Step 2

Roll tinted fondant 1/8 in. thick, cut 1 1/2 x 4 1/2 in. pieces and position on snowmen for jackets; trim excess. Roll logs of fondant, shape into hats and position on heads.

Step 3

For pompoms, roll 3/4 in. diameter balls of white fondant. Cut lines in bottom and insert on hats.

Step 4

Decorate blue jacket with 1/4 in. diameter balls; decorate red and green jackets with 1/4 in. wide strips of white fondant.

Step 5

Attach decorations with damp brush. Pipe tip 14 zigzags on hat brims and jacket edges. Pipe tip 3 pull-out nose, tip 2 dot eyes, cheeks and outline mouth.
