Instructions:

Step 1

Bake and cool cake. Trim tassel and nose off cake.

Step 2

Trim bottom hem of graduation gown t resemble pants.

Step 3

Ice sides and background area and message area smooth with spatula.

Step 4

Outline body, face, glasses, mouth, hands, uniform and hat with Tip 3.

Step 5

Pipe in hat, glasses, tie, belt and shoes with Tip 5 (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Step 6

Add Tip 5 pull-out hair. Outline and fill in badges with Tip 3. Cover face, uniform and hands with Tip 16 stars.

Step 7

Print Tip 2 message. Add Tip 21 star bottom border.
