Dipped strawberries combine the appeal of fresh fruit with the sweetness allure of candy. For best results, make sure your berries are totally dry (any water will cause candy to thicken).

Instructions:

Step 1

Wash and dry strawberries.

Step 2

Melt Candy Melts according to package directions.

Step 3

Holding strawberries by stem, dip into melted candy and gently tap to remove any excess.

Step 4

Sprinkle with or dip into desired sugar.

Step 5

Place on parchment or waxed paper covered cookie sheets; refrigerate until set, about 10 minutes.

Step 6

May be made several hours in advance.
