Bake and cool cookies. Use tip 2 and full-strength violet icing to outline shoe; let set. Use tip 3 and thinned-down violet icing to fill in shoe; let set. Use tip 2 and full-strength violet and black icing to pipe outlines of stripes on heel; let set. Use tip 3 and thinned violet and black icing to pipe in stripes on heel. Let dry. Use tip 2 and full-strength violet icing to pipe lace holes and laces on shoe. Use tip 2 and full-strength icing to pipe buckle on shoe (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Use tip 2 and full-strength black icing to outline buckles. Use tip 2 and full-strength violet icing to pipe spirals on shoe.
