Spooky Scrolls Cookie House
There’s a ghoulish glow in the windows of this Halloween house, built with our Pre-Baked Haunted Mansion Cookie Kit. Use the included green icing mix and orange gum drops to create the eerie effect!

1 Cookie House
Assemble house, leaving off front panel, on cardboard base using black icing and following kit directions.
Using spatula, ice roof smooth with black icing.
Using black icing, pipe outlines on seams and eaves. Using black icing, pipe scroll details on roof. Attach black candy spikes on top of roof. Attach alternating purple and black mini multi-colored candies around eaves of roof.
Using black icing, outline and fill in door on front panel 3 1/4 in. high x 1 in. wide (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).
Using Fondant Roller, roll out orange large sugared gum drops on surface sprinkled with granulated sugar. Use knife to cut windows: three top front windows each 1/2 in. wide x 1 1/4 in. high; front bottom window 1 in. wide x 1 1/2 in. high; four side windows 3/4 in. wide x 1 1/4 in. high; front panel oval top window 3/4 in. wide x 1 1/4 in. high; door window is a 1 in. half circle.
Attach windows to house and front panel with green icing. Use green icing to pipe in frames around windows, except door window. Smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Use black icing to outline frames and door window.
Attach front panel to house with black icing. Use black icing to outline seams and sections of front panel. Use black icing to pipe scroll details on front panel roof. Attach five black spike candies under front of roof.
Use green icing to add scroll and dot details.
Attach black large sugared gum drops at all corners of house.
Tint coconut green in zip-close bag. Position around house for grass.
