Time to break out the seat warmers - our bright Snowy Day Place Card Cookies make every guest feel right at home. A Mini Gingerbread Cookie becomes a colorful kid or snowman which is attached to the cookie card.

Instructions:

Step 1

One day in advance, bake and decorate cookies. Roll out cookie dough 1/8 in. thick. For each place card, cut one mini gingerbread boy, a rectangle 2 1/4 x 4 in. and a brace 1 1/2 x 1 in. Bake all and cool. Divide and tint icing blue, red, green, black and orange; reserve white.

Step 2

Decorate snowman: Ice cookie smooth in white icing. Place on parchment covered cake board. Using tip 3, pipe hat, build up and smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Using tip 2, pipe dot and string facial features and fill in hands, feet and add scarf.

Step 3

Decorate place card: Ice smooth in blue icing. Using tapered spatula, ice snow area. Attach snowman with dots of icing. Using tip 1, pipe trees. Using tip 2, print name. Let set.

Step 4

Assemble: Attach brace to back of place card with additional icing. Let Set.
