Make cookies. Prepare and roll out 1/8 in. thick. Cut with snowflake stencil cutter from set. Bake and cool.
Prepare royal icing. Tint blue.
Outline and fill in cookies. Use tip 3 and full-strength blue icing to outline cookies.
Use thinned blue icing in cut decorating bag to pipe in cookies. Let dry until set.
Add trims. Position stencil cutter, stencil side down, over cookie. Brush piping gel over detail areas; sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar.
