Makes: 1 gingerbread house.

Divide prepared decorating icing in half. Use half for decorating the house now, the other half for
adding “snow” around house later (keep covered with a damp cloth).
Fill decorating bag with 1/2 cup icing.
Cut some gum drop candy rings in halves and quarters. Cut some mini sugared gum drops in half.
Decorate seams of house with zigzags.
Outline door and door window. Fill in door with zigzags (pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).
Attach mini sugared gum drop halves to sides of door with dots of icing. Attach mini multi-colored
candy for door knob. Attach gum drop candy ring halves to top of door; attach mini sugared gum
drop halves above candy ring halves.
Outline windows. Decorate curtains with side-by-side outlines. Decorate window sills with icicles.
Attach mini sugared gum drop halves to sides of windows. Attach a gum drop candy ring half to top
of front window. Attach a mini multi-colored candy above candy ring half.
Attach a whole gum drop candy ring for wreath with dots of icing. Roll out a mini sugared gum drop
and cut triangles for bow loops and a circle for knot. Attach to wreath with dots of icing. Attach mini
multi-colored candies to wreath with dots of icing.
Ice roof smooth. Divide each side of roof into fifths. Decorate each roof section with scallops.
Attach mini multi-colored candies to points of alternating rows of scallops and to cover remaining
scallops. Attach gum drop candy ring halves to peak of roof with dots of icing. Attach mini multicolored
candies to candy ring halves. Decorate eaves with icicles.
Ice snow on base fluffy. Attach mini multi-colored candies for walkway.
