Shoot for the Stars Cake
The 4th of July calls for a bit of shine and sparkle. This easily portable sheet cake is decorated with star-shaped cookies brightened with red and blue decorating gels. Light the candles and let the fireworks begin!

Step 1
Bake and cool cookies. Outline with tip 3 icing and fill in with decorating gel. Pipe dots and message on cookie with gels.
Step 2
Ice cake smooth. Sprinkle with colored sugars in spray design. Position cookies, piping a small amount of icing in back to prop up. Position candles.
