Sharing His Love Mini Cake

Fondant character adds personality to this stand-out treat! Mini cakes are candy coated, trimmed with ready-made sprinkles and topped with a homemade lollipop.


Difficulty: Easy


Step 1

Mold triple-heart lollipop from kit; attach lollipop sticks. Refrigerate to set; unmold.

Step 2

Bake 1 in. high sheet cake; cool. Use medium round cutter from set to cut cookie rounds for bases of treats. Position 2 cake rounds for each treat on cooling grid placed over waxed-paper-lined sheet pan and cover with melted white candy; set aside.

Step 3

Mold boy's head (1 in. round) and hands from copper-tinted fondant. Attach head to front end of candy-coated cake with candy. Mold small amount of fondant into hands and use toothpick to indent fingers. Attach hands to candy-covered cake with melted candy.

Step 4

Use tip 2 and black royal icing to pipe dot nose and outline mouth. Attach a small copper fondant ball for nose with damp brush. Use tip 2 and brown icing to pipe pull-out hair.

Step 5

Attach jumbo hearts confetti to sides of cake with dots of melted candy.

Step 6

Insert lollipop into base.
