Instructions:
Step 1
Ice 2-layer cakes smooth with buttercream. Prepare cakes for Tailored Tiers Construction. Position 14 in. cake on 16 in. base, 10 in. cake on 12 in. plate and 6 in. cake on 8 in. plate. Pipe tip 32 upright shell top border on all cakes. Pipe a tip 3 dot at end of each shell. Arrange photos in acetate wraps and attach around separators.
Step 2
At reception: Assemble cakes following Tailored Tiers instructions. Pipe tip 32 shell bottom border on all cakes.
*Note: The top tier is often saved for the first anniversary. The number of servings given does not include the top tier.
