Patriotic Pinwheel Cookie Pop

When the fireworks are popping, it’s the perfect time to serve these red, white and blue cookie pops. With Sugar Sheets!™ Edible Decorating Paper and tools, it’s easy to create the fun swirls and stars that make this an eye-popping treat.


Difficulty: Easy


Step 1

Prepare and roll out cookie dough. Cut cookies using second largest Round Cutter. Bake and cool.

Step 2

Place cookies on Cooling Grid over drip pan. Cover with thinned Blue Royal Icing; tap to settle. Let dry.

Step 3

Using Rotary Cutter and Red Sugar Sheets!, cut six 2 in. long swirls for each cookie, 1/2 in. wide at bottom and tapering toward end. Brush back with Piping Gel and attach to cookie, 1 1/2 in. apart.

Step 4

Using Punch with smallest Star Cutting Insert and white Sugar Sheets!, punch six 3-star sections. Attach between swirls with Piping Gel.

Step 5

Using punch with largest Star Cutting Insert and Blue Sugar Sheets!, cut center star. Attach with Piping Gel.

Step 6

Attach cookie to stick with icing.
