These softly-colored flowers pack plenty of punch! Set against the smooth-iced cake, they seem to jump across the room. Watch our online video.

Instructions:

Step 1

Bake and cool a 2-layer round cake. Stack cooled cake layers using buttercream icing or another favorite filling between layers. Place on a foil-wrapped cake circle.

Step 2

Spatula ice cake smooth with ivory buttercream icing. Imprint cake top with flower cookie cutter. Imprint cake sides with medium flower Cut-outs.

Step 3

For cake top flowers, outline petals with 16 lines in orange, violet and rose. Fill in petals with tip 16 matching color stars. Add tip 16 outline stems and leaves. Make cake side flowers in same way using tip 13. For all flower centers, add tip 16 star tip centers. Add tip 2D ivory bottom border.
