One Mean Green Spread
Watercress Spread Recipe*
red bell pepper
(1 6 oz. can) pitted black olives
Dip serves 12.
Prepare cream cheese spread. Line pan with plastic wrap. Fill with spread, pressing down firmly to fill and cover all areas. Chill in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours or until firm.
Flip onto a foil-wrapped cake board cut to pan shape; peel off plastic wrap.
Spray spread with green food color spray.
Cut the following vegetables and place on spread: red pepper for eyebrows and carrots for hair around stem. Place two black olives in eye cavities; chop remaining olives and fill nose and mouth cavities. Cut onion for teeth and place over olives.
*Recipe for Watercress Cream Cheese Spread 5 packages (8 oz. ea.) cream cheese, softened 1 1/2 cups watercress, finely chopped In large bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer until smooth. Stir in chopped watercress. Refrigerate.
