Our cute stand-up squirrel makes this classic heart cake stand out. We added a bushy cookie tail to the Mini Stand-Up Bear cake to create an irresistible combination.

Instructions:

Step 1

In advance: Cut, bake and cool one tail cookie using pattern and one heart cookie using second smallest cutter. Cover heart cookie with poured cookie icing; let set. Attach tail to lollipop sticks with melted candy.

Step 2

Ice 2-layer heart cake (3 in. high) with spatula. Pipe tip 1M rosette bottom border; add Sprinkle Sparks and position heart icing decorations.

Step 3

Trim ears and hands off mini bear cake. Build up cheeks, forehead, nose and feet areas with tip 6. Cover cake with tip 14 stars. Pipe tip 3 dot eyes, tip 2 pupils and nose. Attach heart cookie with dots of icing. Pipe tip 14 zigzag arms and ears; overpipe with tip 14 stars. Position squirrel cake on heart cake. Insert cookie tail; cover tail with tip 13 pull-out stars. Add tip 2 message.
