Invite these two bears to the first birthday celebration—they are sure to be sensational guests! Both the stand up cuddly bear cake and the mini stand-up bear cake are covered tip 233 pull out fur of buttercream icing.

Instructions:

Step 1

Bake and cool both cakes. To decorate Big Bear, pipe-in tip 6 eyes, nose and pads of feet (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Outline mouth with tip 4. Use spatula to build up icing in left paw. Cover bear with tip 233 pull-out fur.

Step 2

Add tip 1 dot eye highlights. Position candle. To decorate Baby Bear smash cake, pipe-in tip 4 eyes, nose and pads of feet (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Outline mouth with tip 2. Use spatula to build up icing on left paw. Pipe tip 4 zigzags where place card will be positioned. Cover bear with tip 233 pull-out fur.
