Instructions:

Step 1

Bake and cool cake. Trim off right ear and part of left ear. Ice sides and background areas smooth.

Step 2

Outline body, clothing, hat, facial features, shoes and drill with Tip 3.

Step 3

Pipe-in whites of eyes and drill with Tip 7; pipe in mouth and bottom of right shoe with Tip 3 (smooth all with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Step 4

Cover hat, face, body, clothes and left shoe with Tip 16 stars. Overpipe nose with Tip 16 stars.

Step 5

Pipe Tip 3 dot pupils and button on hat. Pipe Tip 13 rosette hair. Insert lollipop stick in cake for drill bit and cover with Tip 13 swirls.

Step 6

Pipe Tip 21 star bottom border.
