Cheers! That’s what you’ll hear when you serve a round of our margarita cookies at your patio parties, BBQ’s or warm weather get-togethers. Make them with our sunny Summer Cutter Set and add a refreshing fondant lime accent!

Instructions:

Step 1

Prepare and roll out cookie dough. Cut cookies using margarita cutter from set. Bake and cool.

Step 2

Use tip 2 and full-strength blue color flow icing to outline stem of glass. Let set. Use thinned blue color flow icing in a cut parchment bag to flow in stem of glass. Let dry.

Step 3

Use tip 2 and full-strength green color flow icing to outline top of glass. Let set. Use thinned green color flow icing in a cut parchment bag to flow in top of glass. Let dry.

Step 4

Use tip 2 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe lines on stem. Use tip 2 and full-strength green color flow icing to pipe line on rim. Sprinkle rim with white sparkling sugar.

Step 5

For lime, tint 1/4 oz. of white fondant light green and 1/4 oz. dark green. Roll out light green 1/8 in. thick. Use knife to cut a 1 1/4 in. wide semi-circle. Roll a 1/8 in. diameter x 1 1/2 in. long rope of dark green fondant. Attach to lime with damp brush.

Step 6

Attach lime to cookie with full-strength color flow icing. Use tip 2 and full-strength white color flow icing to pipe section lines on lime.
