Each mini cake serves 1.
Bake and cool ball cakes and cupcakes.
Cut cupcake in half for body. Ice smooth. For each pair of snowmen, tint fondant: 4 oz. black, 2 oz. violet, 1 oz. green, 1 oz. blue and 1/2 oz. each pink, orange, red and brown. Roll out 1/8 in. thick as needed
Make and position hats. For pointed hat, trim ice cream cone to 2 1/4 in.; for top hat, trim 2 1/4 in. off point and 1 in. off opening of cone, leaving a 1 1/4 in. piece. Cover with fondant. For pointed hat, cut a 1/4 x 4 in. strip and wrap around. Push 3 in. Lollipop Stick into head and position hat on stick. Roll small ball for tip and log for brim; attach using damp brush. For top hat, use large round cutter to cut circle brim. Push stick into head and position brim and hat over stick. Cut 1/4 x 2 1/2 in. hat band; attach using damp brush.
Using narrow end, cut eyes and buttons with tip 8, cut cheeks with tip 12. Cut 1/8 x 1 1/4 in. strip for mouth; shape small cone for nose. Attach features using damp brush. For scarf, cut 1/4 x 4 in. strip for around neck, 1/4 x 3/4 in. and 1/4 x 1 1/2 in. strips for ends. Use knife to fringe ends; attach. Roll thin logs for 1 1/2 in. long arms. Roll 3/4 in. balls and shape into shoes. Push shoes onto 3 in. Lollipop Sticks and insert in body.
