1 gingerbread house.
Divide prepared decorating icing in half, use half for decorating the house now, the other half for adding "snow" around the house later (keep covered with a damp cloth).
Fill decorating bag with 1/2 cup icing.
Outline door and fill in with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Cut candy rounds in half and attach to door frame and for awning with dots of icing. Attach a full candy round for window, mini multi-colored candy for doorknob and star candy above door with dots of icing.
Roll out candy rounds flat and cut for windows; attach to house with icing. Decorate curtains and icicles on windowsills. Cut gum drop candy rings in half and attach for side shutters with dots of icing. Attach star candy above each window with dots of icing.
Decorate zigzags on corner seams of house and straight lines under eaves. Ice roof smooth and decorate with lattice. Attach mini multi-colored candies in between lattice lines. Decorate line on roof peak and attach candy rounds flat. Attach star candies on top of candy rounds with dots of icing. Decorate icicles on eaves and edge with mini multi-colored candies.
Ice base fluffy. Position star candies on sides to line walkway.
