Combine Brown with Red-Red for brown shown. Combine Golden Yellow with Lemon Yellow for yellow shown.
In advance: Make cookies. Prepare and roll out dough; cut tail feathers using daisy cutter. Cut off 3 petals to make a flat edge. Place on cookie sheet and sprinkle with colored sugars. Cut head using pattern. Bake and cool cookies.
Also: Use melted candy to attach lollipop stick to back of head cookie, leaving 2 in. extended to insert into cake; let set.
Bake and cool mini cakes; cut in half. Insert heads. Pipe tip 5 dot eyes, tip 3 dot pupils. Using tip 3, outline and fill in beak (pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Cover head and body with tip 16 stars. Add tip 16 pull-out wings. Attach tail feathers with icing. Pipe tip 5 red wattle.
