Instructions:

Step 1

Place mini ball cakes on parchment; cover with melted red candy, let set.

Step 2

Tint portions of melted white candy black and gray using candy color.

Step 3

Using parchment-covered patterns, outline and pipe-in brim and badge with melted candy in cut disposable bag; refrigerate until firm.

Step 4

Pipe lines on hat; pipe initials on badge and attach to hat with melted candy.

Step 5

Mini cake can also be modified to create a construction worker's hard hat.
