Hearts & Flower Cakes: A Perfect Pair

Bite-sized cakes get a quick covering of heated, ready-to-use Cookie Icing. Easy-to-master bead technique is used with buttercream icing to pipe individual flower petals.

Step 1

Bake cakes according to recipe direction in mold; let cool.

Step 2

Place cakes on cooling grid positioned over waxed paper.

Step 3

Cover cakes with cookie icing; let set.

Step 4

Use tip 5 and pink/red/white buttercream icing to pipe contrasting color flowers on cakes. Use tip 3 and yellow buttercream icing to pipe center dots on flowers. Use tip 349 and green icing to pipe leaf on flowers.
