Hawaiian Chicken Pizza

Sounds crazy but Hawaiian Chicken Pizza will have guests doing a hula in the aisles! Toppings include healthy chicken strips, pineapple, macadamia nuts and other more traditional ingredients seasoned with garlic, ginger and barbeque sauce!

  • 1 pizza crust refrigerated
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 pound (8 ounces) boneless, skinless chicken cut into strips
  • 1clove garlic chopped
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger chopped
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks halved
  • 1/4 cup green onion sliced
  • 1 small red pepper sliced thin and cut into half rings
  • 3/4 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/3 cup macadamia nuts halved


Pizza serves 6.


Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly spray pan with vegetable pan spray. Unroll and gently press crust into prepared pan. Bake 5-6 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Set aside.

Step 2

Meanwhile, heat oil in medium frying pan. Sauté chicken with garlic and ginger about 8 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Be careful not to brown garlic and ginger.

Step 3

Brush baked crust with BBQ sauce and top pizza with cooked chicken, pineapple, green onion, red pepper and cheese.

Step 4

Bake 10-12 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly. During the last 5 minutes in oven, top pizza with macadamia nuts. Serve immediately.
