A happy amphibian hard-cooked egg sports a big smile that is sure to brighten every Easter basket or lily pad! Leaf Green Icing Color and Ready-To-Use Rolled Fondant easily shape his personality.

Instructions:

Step 1

Color egg green; let dry.

Step 2

Tint 1 1/4 in. ball fondant green for each egg. Make back legs: Use 3/4 in. ball for each back leg. Shape into oval 1 1/4 in. x 3/4 in. x 3/8 in. thick and shape onto body. Add back feet: Use 1/2 in. ball for each. Flatten to 1/4 in. thick, cut and shape webbed feet. Attach all fondant pieces to egg using brush and melted candy.

Step 3

Make front legs: Use 1/2 in. ball; cut in half, shaping each into a 3/8 in. long leg. Add front feet: Roll two 3/8 in. balls, flatten to 3/16 in. thickness. Cut and shape webbed feet.

Step 4

Attach candy eyeballs with melted candy.

Step 5

Use 1/4 in. ball green fondant for each eyelid. Shape into log and position above eyeballs.

Step 6

Roll out remaining green fondant to 1/16 in. thickness. Cut out three circles with wide end and six circles with narrow end of tip 12. Attach with melted candy.

Step 7

Tint 1/4 in. ball of fondant red for each egg. Roll into log about 1 1/2 in. long and curve for mouth; attach with melted candy.
