Instructions:

Step 1

Ice top and sides of 1-layer cake smooth. Use decorating comb on cake sides.

Step 2

For top and bottom borders, pipe tip 46 smooth side up band planks. Score with sharp knife to create wood grain effect. Pipe tip 2 dot nail heads.

Step 3

Make extras to allow for breakage and let dry. Pipe tip 46 smooth side up band planks for message.

Step 4

To make tool chest: Ice top of Mini Loaf cake smooth.

Step 5

Pipe three rows of tip 2B smooth side up band panels on each side; score panels with sharp knife to create wood grain effect.

Step 6

Print tip 2 message; pipe tip 2 dot nail heads. Set aside.

Step 7

Position tool box and candles.
