Guarding The Garden Cake

Cover 3 in. high cake with fondant reserve leftover fondant. Cut ladybugs using round Cut-Outs™--large for bodies, medium for heads.

Cut 1/2 in. from body and attach body and head to cake with damp brush. Cut spots using small round Cut-Out™; attach. Pipe tip 3 dot eyes in buttercream.

Position small fondant balls for pupils. Insert shoestring licorice antennae. Cut 5 large, 9 medium and 9 small fondant flowers using Cut-Outs™.

Paint large and medium flower centers with lines of Brush-On Color™. Roll small balls for centers and attach with damp brush. Attach flowers to cake.

Cut fondant leaves using medium and small cut-outs. Paint veins with Brush-On Color™ and attach next to large and medium flowers.

For grass, cut 3/4 in. wide strips with 1/2 in. deep thin slits; dampen uncut edge and attach. Roll logs for letters and attach.

*Note: Mix 2 oz. neon yellow and 1/4 oz. primary yellow with pastel yellow for covering cake; combine 2 oz. of mixture with 1 oz. neon yellow for yellow flowers and 2 oz. of mixture with 1 oz. primary green for leaves.
