Soccer Mom’s can kick it up a notch with this Goal-Oriented Girl cake. For a special treat, present the soccer ball cookie to the team’s MVP! (Hint: For black icing, start with chocolate icing so less color will need to be added.)

Instructions:

Step 1

Bake and cool circle cookie. Outline with Tip 3 strings to resemble soccer ball; fill in with Tip 14 stars. Set aside.

Step 2

Trim off top leg area of cake. Ice sides and background areas of cake smooth.

Step 3

Outline face, hands, shirt, pants and shoes with Tip 3.

Step 4

Fill in shoes with tip 8 zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Step 5

Pipe Tip 3 dot and string facial features.

Step 6

Cover face, hands, bows, shirt, pants and legs with Tip 16 stars.

Step 7

Add Tip 16 pull-out star hair. Pipe Tip 4 cleats. Position cookie on cake.

Step 8

Add Tip 233 pull-out grass bottom border.
