Any birthday boy or girl will Go Bananas for this cake! The smiling monkey is covered with stars made with vanilla and chocolate flavored icing for two taste treats in one.

Instructions:

Step 1

Trim ears off cake and position lower on head.

Step 2

Trace shape on cake circle, cut to fit and wrap with foil.

Step 3

Outline facial features with tip 4.

Step 4

Pipe in tip 6 eyes, pupils, inside ears, nostrils, mouth and tongue (pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).

Step 5

Cover head with tip 16 stars.

Step 6

*Note: Add white to chocolate buttercream for shade used in inner face area.
