Instructions:

Step 1

Cascading swags of magnificent apple blossoms on life-like ivy vines add a charming tough of sweetness of the wedding festivities.

Step 2

Using royal icing make 110 tip 101 and 60 tip 102 apple blossoms with tip 2 dot centers. Let dry on smallest flower former.

Step 3

Prepare gum paste mix following instructions on label. Using ivy cutter, make 140 gum paste leaves (70 Delphinium Blue, 70 Juniper Green) following kit instructions.

Step 4

Let dry on flower formers for a natural shape. When dry, accent with non-toxic art pastels: using a tea strainer, make a powder by grating the sticks.

Step 5

Mix the powder with a small amount of cornstarch and brush on leaves.

Step 6

Prepare 2-layer cakes for push-in pillar and stacked construction.

Step 7

On 6 in. cake, divide into 4ths. Pipe tip 3 drop strings for garland vines. Add tip 3 stems and tip 1 dots. Pipe tip 363 top shell border.

Step 8

Position flowers and leaves. For bottom border, pipe tip 199 shells trimmed with tip 2 strings and dots.

Step 9

On 10 in. cake, pipe tip 363 top shell and tip 199 bottom shell borders. Pipe tip 3 curving vine around cake.

Step 10

Add tip 3 stems with tip 1 dots. Position flowers and leaves. Pipe tip 363 shells around pillars.

Step 11

On 14 in. cake divide into 8ths. Use tip 3 drop strings for garland vines. Add tip 3 stems and tip 1 dots. Pipe tip 363 top shell border.

Step 12

Position flowers and leaves. For bottom border, pipe tip 199 shells trimmed with tip 2 strings and dots. Add flowers and leaves to floral puff and ornament.

Step 13

At reception: Assemble top tier on pillars, position ornament and floral puff.
