Instructions:
Step 1
Make Color Flow designs at least 2 days in advance.
Step 2
Using patterns and color flow icing, make rainbow and approximately 12-14 hearts: With tip 2 and parchment bag, outline patterns, let dry.
Step 3
Flow-in with thinned icing. Make extras to allow for breakage and let dry for 48 hours. When completely dry, attach cookie sticks to back of rainbow with full-strength color flow icing, leaving enough length to insert 3-in of stick in cake. Set aside.
Step 4
Tint fondant blue. Prepare cakes for rolled fondant; cover 12 in. cake with 1 1/2 pks. of fondant and ring cake with remainder of fondant; smooth with Easy-Glide Smoothers.
Step 5
Position ring cake in center of cake. Pipe tip 17 spatula stripe reverse shell waves around ring cake and tip 21 c-motion shells on side of 12 in. cake.
Step 6
Pipe tip 19 c-motion shell bottom border on cake. Randomly attach hearts to cake sides with tip 2 dots of icing.
Step 7
Position rainbow on cake; pipe tip 12 clouds. Pipe tip 2 message. Position topper .
