Makes: 1 gingerbread house.

Divide prepared decorating icing in half. Use half for decorating the house now, the other half for
adding, “snow” around house later (keep covered with a damp cloth).
Fill decorating bag with 1/2 cup icing.
Decorate corners of house and under eaves with line of icing.
Outline windows and fill in with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Roll out mini
sugared gum drops on granulated sugar and cut into small pieces to resemble stained glass. Attach
to windows. Decorate curtains on windows and attach mini multi-colored candies above windows
and on windowsills.
Outline front door and decorate with vertical lines. Attach green mini sugared gum drop for window
and mini multi-colored candy for doorknob. Attach berry-shaped candies above door for awning
and mini multi-colored candies for outlines on sides of door.
Cut green leaf candy into small leaf pieces and create evergreens on house corners and under front
window beginning at bottom of trees and building up to a three-dimensional shape.
Ice roof smooth and decorate lattice lines 1 in. apart. Attach mini multi-colored candies in center
of each lattice shape with dots of icing. Attach cut green leaf pieces to house peak with dots of icing
for garland and add mini multi-colored candy berries to garland. Decorate icicles on roof peak and
eaves.
Ice snow on base fluffy. Ice walkway smooth and line with mini multi-colored candies.
NOTE: Additional candy may be required.
