Here’s a real eye-opener! A cupcake topped with an eyeball that has been cut with our Sugar Sheets! Sunburst and Layered Circles Cutting Insert Set.

Instructions:

Step 1

Bake and cool cupcakes. Ice smooth with buttercream icing.

Step 2

Using punch with Sunburst Cutting Insert, cut head shape from Purple Sugar Sheets!

Step 3

For eyes, use punch with Small Circle Cutting Insert to cut circles from White Sugar Sheets! Brush back with piping gel and attach to head. Using black FoodWriter, draw pupil on eye.

Step 4

For mouth, use knife to cut a curved strip, 1 1/4 long x 1/8 in. wide, from Black Sugar Sheets! Brush back with piping gel and attach to head.

Step 5

For teeth, use knife to cut five triangles, about 1/4 high x 1/4 in. wide, from White Sugar Sheets! Brush back with piping gel and attach to head.
