“snow” around house later (keep covered with a damp cloth).
Fill decorating bag with 1/2 cup icing.
Decorate seams of house with zigzags. Decorate under eaves with straight lines.
For windows, outline and fill in with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Roll candy
rounds on surface sprinkled with granulated sugar. Cut into small pieces to resemble stained glass
and attach with dots of icing. Outline windows and windowpanes; add mini multi-colored candies to
windowsill and above windows with dots of icing. Decorate dots of icing above mini multi-colored
candies over windows. Attach candy rounds on sides of window above door with dots of icing.
Outline front door and fill in with zigzags (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Attach green candy
round for window and mini multi-colored candies for doorframe and doorknob with dots of icing.
Ice roof smooth. Decorate lattice lines, 1 in. apart on both sides of roof and attach mini multi-colored
candies at intersection point of each line. Decorate line on roof peak and attach pairs of candy rounds on
sides touching at top and secure with dots of icing topped with mini multi-colored candy. Cut gum drop
candy rings in half and attach to front and back house peaks. Decorate icicles on roof eaves and peaks
and add mini multi-colored candies to front and back peaks where candy rings meet.
Ice snow on base fluffy. Cut gum drop candy rings and candy rounds in half. Attach two gum drop
candy rings on each side of walkway and line path around house with alternating mini multi-colored
candies and half candy rounds.
NOTE: Additional candy may be required.
