Step 1

Bake and cool one-layer cake using firm-textured batter like pound cake. Trim to 1 1/2 in. high. Using smallest circle cutter as a guide, cut cakes with knife.

Step 2

Place cakes on cooling grid over a drip pan. Cover cakes with melted white Candy Melts. Chill until firm.

Step 3

Using Rotary Cutter, cut strips, 1 1/2 high x 6 in. wide, from Blue Dots Sugar Sheets! Wrap around cake sides and attach with piping gel.

Step 4

Using punch with Small Circle Cutting Insert, cut circles from Light Blue Sugar Sheets! Write letters using black FoodWriter marker. Attach circles to cakes using piping gel.
